Perched majestically atop a hill in the enchanting northeast of Corfu, this property is a hidden gem within a hillside olive grove, graced by centuries-old olive trees that take center stage in a meticulously planned landscape. Despite its grand scale and expansive reach across the entire plot, its architecture has been expertly concealed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. In perfect harmony with the indigenous flora and the elements, the crafted environment effortlessly complements the breathtaking views that envelop it.
At the heart of this property stands the main villa, spanning three levels, accompanied by a separate guest house. The Earth Home Level unveils a spacious living area, featuring a sprawling open-plan living room, complete with a cozy fireplace, a dining area, and a well-appointed kitchen. Each of these elements has been strategically positioned to fully capitalize on the extensive glass openings that lead to a covered terrace and the inviting heated main infinity pool. The bespoke central staircase serves not just as a functional element for accessing the rest of the residence but also as a dominant artistic feature.
The upper-level hosts three generously sized master bedrooms, each graced with its own ensuite bathroom. The northern-facing bedroom, complete with a WC and shower room, opens onto patios on two sides, one of which boasts an external bathtub. The central bedroom enjoys a private balcony, while the southern-facing bedroom features a WC, shower room, and access to a spacious patio. The addition of an external seating patio adds dramatic qualities to this level. Uniquely, the "elevated basement" conceals a wine cellar, a cinema room, and a game room, along with essential electrical engineering facilities, a laundry room, and ample storage space. The separate guest house offers an exclusive retreat, complete with its own infinity swimming pool. Featuring two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and access to a patio, it provides the perfect private escape. Additionally, there's an external semi-open living area and a semi-open external kitchen and dining area by the pool, offering an inviting space to relax and unwind.
The challenge was to create a residence that not only complements the breathtaking environment but also celebrates architectural ingenuity. This property is a true testament to the art of blending eclectic living with the serene beauty of Corfu's landscape.
